by I adore making abstract designs with cyanotypes. Cyanotypes are created with a liquid that reacts with sunlight, turning a rich blue color when the sun touches it.
In this artwork I began with corrugated art paper gifted to me by an artist friend. I then painted the cyanotype liquid onto that ridged paper, letting it flow and ebb. I placed the paper into the sunlight and let the sun’s rays do their magic!
