Greetings! My name is Lisa Shea, and I adore cyanotypes. Cyanotypes are a historic form of photography which began in the 1800s. Ever wonder why blueprints are blue? It’s because originally architectural drawings were done with cyanotype techniques.
I’ve written two books on cyanotypes – one on the history of cyanotypes and the other on how to make your own cyanotypes. I’ve also made hundreds of cyanotypes myself, including cyanotype clothing and cyanotype jewelry.
Explore my site and enjoy the beauty of cyanotypes! I am happy to discuss custom orders. Feel free to contact me with any questions by leaving comments here on the piece you’re interested here.
