by I love doing themed projects with my cyanotypes. In this case, I began with four ten-inch by ten-inch canvas squares. I gently painted each one with the cyanotype liquid. I kept the brushstrokes rough. Then I used large gears to decorate the canvas. I rinsed it in a way to create a distressed look. I love the overall soft, well used effect that this created. It brings a calm, quiet aspect to the cyanotype.
