Nearly every year, ArtsWorcester has a fundraiser with a twist. Artists donate artworks which are 5″ x 7″ or smaller. These art items are hung on “clothes lines” strung across the gallery. When the doors open, people rush in, eager to be the first to buy something. All art items are the exact same price and whoever gets to something first gets to buy it. It’s a lot of fun, and it’s a great fundraiser for the organization.
Here’s the 5″ x 7″ cyanotype I donated for the 2022 Art on the Line event.
It did sell!
Here’s more information about ArtsWorcester. Their gallery is in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts.
